Kick off Foco Flava Week with Gina Medina’s Waacking Workshop on Tuesday, September 10th at CSU Lory Student Center, Room #386! We’re partnering with the CSU Hip-Hop Dance Club to bring you this exciting class, and the best part? It’s completely FREE!

Waacking is a style of dance that originated from the underground clubs of the 1970s, blending expressive arm movements, groovy footwork, and powerful poses. Gina, a professional dancer, choreographer, and studio director at EVQ Dance, will guide you through the history and fundamentals of this vibrant style, from its roots in punking to the evolution into waacking.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just curious, this class is open to all levels! We’ll be moving and grooving, with the ultimate goal of dancing freely and letting loose.
